Axillary Block Transarterial Method



This video highlights brachial plexus nerve block via the transarterial method. This approach of performing an axillary block is indicated for surgery on the upper extremities and for postoperative analgesia. The transarterial approach is just one of the methods used to perform a brachial plexus block and is becoming less commonly used in the USA.
